The approval route can change according to the equipment, emirate, vehicle activity and customer sector. Before confirming a deployment, orbitXtrackline reviews which requirements apply to the proposed scope and records any customer or third-party action needed.

Confirming the selected communications equipment is eligible for supply and use in the UAE and that the responsible supplier and equipment approval route are in place under the current TDRA Type Approval framework.

Checking whether the vehicle activity falls within a sector-specific system, including SIRA Secure Path categories in Dubai or Abu Dhabi Mobility’s Asateel requirements for applicable commercial transport operations.
